Lacrosse – Anything & Everything – What else is there?

The Art Of Lax

Posted by Barry Marenberg on September 17, 2010

Yesterday I had a great lunch meeting in NYC with Vinnie Ricasio.  Vinnie is a very talented artist and the creative mastermind behind the artwork sold on his website:

Like myself, Vinnie is a lax fanatic.  He’s a top-notch goalie that has played the sport for many years and is now devoting a great deal of time to his artwork.    Vinnie’s lax artwork has been displayed, auctioned and sold at Sotheby’s New York, the Society of Illustrators, Cipriani Midtown, the Kent Art Association, the Webatuck Craft Village, RIVAA-Roosevelt Island Visual Arts Association, LaxFestUSA, the Texas Lacrosse Expo/The Lax boutique, the U.S. National Lacrosse Convention, and international stages such as the Canada Day Box Lacrosse Event in Calgary and the 2010 ILF World Games of Lacrosse in Manchester, England.

Give a visit and take a look at the awesome lacrosse drawings and paintings for sale (prices for originals and prints are very reasonable!).  Vinnie also sells t-shirts with his lax artwork screen printed on the shirt as well as some other accessories.  He’ll even do a custom drawing for you (details on his website).  This stuff makes a great gift for birthdays and the upcoming holidays and is guaranteed to satisfy your lacrosse player or fan!!
